Steps of the Process

Taking on a LED lighting retrofit may seem like a daunting task that will disrupt your workflow and take too much valuable time away from your core business. Not true! InLight has simplified the energy savings model through our easy to follow six-step retrofit process.  We do all the heavy lifting on your behalf resulting in a hassle-free installation.

Step 1 – Complimentary Lighting Audit

Once you schedule your complimentary lighting audit, InLight’s professional auditing team will visit your location to inspect your current lighting system.  The inspection consists of collecting an inventory of existing lighting systems.  This will enable us to asses your potential annual energy savings. We will document your hours of operation and obtain a recent hydro bill to provide you with an accurate energy savings calculation.

Step 2 – Pricing Proposals

Once the audit is completed, we will provide a comprehensive proposal with a breakdown of existing lighting compared to our energy efficient solution. The proposal will include a detailed lighting solution plan, capital cost of the project, energy savings analysis including ROI, government rebate incentive, environmental impact, installation timelines, warranty information and financing details if required.

Step 3 – Government Rebate

Ontario’s “Save on Energy” program is an excellent incentive program designed to reduce the upfront capital cost of energy efficiency. InLight takes the hassle out of the government paperwork process by completing your application and securing the highest rebate amount possible. Rebate amounts will be guaranteed prior to the project moving forward and will be paid directly to the client upon completion of the project.

Step 4 – Purchase Order

Once your rebate is confirmed and the specifications for the installation are agreed to, a Purchase Order from the customer is required to intiate the project.

Step 5 – Installation

Our installation team consists of project management and certified electrical contractors. Installations will be completed within agreed upon timescales, with little to no disruption to your day to day business activities. InLight’s installations will require little to no demand of your employee’s time or effort. 

Step 6 – Rebate Post Approval

Upon completion of the project, InLight will complete all the closing documentation on your behalf. InLight will be with you each step of the way during this process. Once approved you will receive your rebate directly.
